Peer Review Process

ARGAPHARMA JOURNAL (Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences) enforces a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review policy to uphold scientific rigor, objectivity, and publishing quality. Under this policy, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous throughout the entire evaluation process.

 Step-by-Step Review Workflow

Step 1

Initial Submission & Desk Screening

Upon submission via OJS, the Managing Editor performs an initial check for scope compliance, formatting alignment with author guidelines, and preliminary plagiarism evaluation (Turnitin/iThenticate).

Step 2

Reviewer Assignment

Manuscripts passing preliminary screening are assigned to at least two (2) independent peer reviewers possessing expertise closely aligned with the paper's subject matter.

Step 3

Double-Blind Peer Evaluation

Reviewers evaluate novelty, methodology, scientific soundness, data analysis, ethical compliance, and conclusions. Detailed constructive comments are provided anonymously to the editors.

Step 4

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewers' reports, the Editor-in-Chief / Handling Editor makes one of the following decisions: Accept Submission, Revisions Required, Resubmit for Review, or Decline Submission.

Step 5

Author Revision & Resubmission

Authors revise the manuscript addressing all reviewer suggestions within the designated timeframe, accompanying their revised draft with a point-by-point Response to Reviewers document.

Step 6

Final Acceptance & Production

Once revisions meet quality standards, an official Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is issued. The paper undergoes copyediting, typesetting/layouting, proofreading, and online publication.
