Author Guidelines

  Important Notice: Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that your article adheres to the formatting and style guidelines of ARGAPHARMA JOURNAL. Download the manuscript template using the button below:

1. General Requirements

  • The manuscript must be an original scientific work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts may be written in English (preferred) or Bahasa Indonesia with proper grammar and syntax.
  • Every manuscript must include a bilingual Abstract (both in English and Bahasa Indonesia).
  • The scope of the manuscript includes pharmaceutical fields: Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Drug Discovery, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Biology, Herbal Medicines, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Microbiology & Biotechnology, Community & Clinical Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Care.
  • Manuscripts should be typed in Microsoft Word (.docx) on A4 paper, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides, 1.15 line spacing, and set in Times New Roman font, size 11 pt.
  • The ideal length of the manuscript is between 8 to 15 pages (including tables, figures, and references).

2. Manuscript Organization and Structure

Section Specifications & Guidelines
Title Concise, clear, and informative (maximum 18 words). Written in Bold, Capitalize Each Word, 14 pt font.
Author Details Full names without academic titles, institutional affiliation, city, country, and corresponding author's email address.
Abstract & Keywords Written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (150–250 words in a single paragraph). Must cover objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusions. Provide 3–5 Keywords.
Introduction Research background, problem significance, state of the art/literature review, gap analysis, and research objectives.
Methods Detailed materials, equipment, research procedures, experimental design, and data/statistical analysis methods.
Results & Discussion Presentation of data (tables/figures) accompanied by scientific interpretation, discussion of findings, and comparison with previous research.
Conclusion Answers to the research objectives written in narrative paragraph form (not as numbered bullet points).
References Minimum of 15 primary references (80% from peer-reviewed journals published in the last 10 years). Follow IEEE or APA 7th Edition style using reference managers (e.g., Mendeley or Zotero).

3. Tables, Figures, and Chemical/Mathematical Equations

  • Tables: Must be formatted using horizontal lines only (no vertical lines), sequentially numbered with table titles placed above the table.
  • Figures/Graphs: Must be clear, high resolution (at least 300 dpi), with figure captions placed directly below the image.
  • Equations/Formulas: Chemical equations or mathematical formulas must be clearly typed using the Equation Editor tool and numbered sequentially.

4. Online Submission Procedure

  1. Authors must Register an account on the ARGAPHARMA JOURNAL OJS portal prior to submitting.
  2. After logging in, click Make a New Submission to start the manuscript upload process.
  3. Complete the 5 submission steps (Start, Upload Submission, Enter Metadata, Upload Supplementary Files, & Confirmation).
  4. Ensure the corresponding author's email address and phone number (WhatsApp) are active for ongoing editorial communication and peer review updates.
  Publication Ethics Notice: All submitted manuscripts will undergo a similarity check using Turnitin. The maximum acceptable threshold for similarity index is 20%.
