1. General Submission Principles

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.
  • The submission must be original work, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Submissions should be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • Manuscripts must adhere to ethical standards in research involving human subjects or animal experimentation.

2. Manuscript Structure & Formatting

Original research articles submitted to AJIHS should generally follow the standard IMRaD structure:

Title & Authorship

The title should be concise, informative, and reflect the main focus of the study (maximum 18–20 words). Provide full names, institutional affiliations, and the corresponding author's email address.

Abstract & Keywords

A structured abstract of 150–250 words consisting of: Background/Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Provide 3–5 keywords separated by semicolons.

Introduction

Clearly state the research background, the problem gap, state-of-the-art literature context, and the primary objective or hypothesis of the study.

Methods

Detail the research design, study population, sampling methods, data collection tools/instruments, intervention procedures, ethical approval details, and statistical analysis methods.

Results & Discussion

Present findings clearly using text, tables, and figures. The discussion should interpret the key results, compare them with previous studies, state clinical/policy implications, and mention study limitations.

Conclusion & Recommendations

Summarize the main conclusions drawn from the results and offer practical or future research recommendations based directly on the study findings.

3. References & Citations Style

  • AJIHS uses the APA Style (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition or Vancouver Citation Style for reference formatting.
  • Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
  • At least 80% of references should come from primary sources (peer-reviewed journal articles) published within the last 10 years.
  • Include the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) link for all referenced journal articles whenever available.

4. Submission Final Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items:

The manuscript has not been previously published nor is it currently under review by another journal.
The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format (.doc or .docx).
Where available, URLs or DOIs for the references have been provided.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines and Official Template.
