To maintain objectivity and highest standards of quality, AJOSHE strictly applies a Double-Blind Peer Review policy. This means that the reviewers' identities are hidden from the authors, and the authors' identities are likewise hidden from the reviewers throughout the entire process.
The Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor will evaluate the submitted manuscript to check its alignment with the journal's focus and scope, adherence to the author guidelines, basic structure, and plagiarism levels (checked via Turnikit/Turnitin with a maximum tolerance policy).
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two (2) independent expert reviewers in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific methodology, clarity of results, and contribution to the OSH field.
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the section editor will request the authors to revise the paper. Authors are expected to fulfill the recommendations and resubmit the revised file along with a detailed response to the reviewers' comments.
The final decision to accept or reject the paper rests with the Editorial Board, taking into account the completeness of revisions and reviewers' final validation. Accepted manuscripts will then proceed to copyediting and publication scheduling.
