Author Guidelines

Carefully reading this guide before submission will ensure that your manuscript moves smoothly through the peer-review and publication process. Manuscripts that do not conform to these guidelines may be returned to the authors for technical correction prior to editorial review.

  General Requirements

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English or Bahasa Indonesia (as per journal language support).
  • Originality: Submissions must contain original research that has not been published elsewhere or is under consideration by another journal.
  • File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • Plagiarism Check: All submitted papers are screened using Turnitin. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20% (or adjusted according to your journal rules).

  Manuscript Structure

Articles must be structured following standard academic guidelines (IMRaD):

1. Title: Specific, clear, concise, and reflective of the core study (max 15 words).

2. Author Names & Affiliations: Full names without academic titles, along with institutional addresses and email of the corresponding author.

3. Abstract: A single-paragraph unstructured or structured summary (150-250 words) covering the objective, methods, main results, and conclusion.

4. Keywords: 3 to 5 keywords or phrases separated by semicolons.

5. Introduction: Context, state of the art, literature gaps, problem statements, and research objectives.

6. Methods: Clear description of research design, data collection, analytical framework, and ethical ethical procedures.

7. Results & Discussion: Clear presentations of findings through structured subheadings, followed by a profound scientific interpretation linking to previous studies.

8. Conclusion: Core take-away points addressing the objective, limitations, and recommendations for further research.

9. References: Comprehensive lists of literature cited within the body text.

  References & Citations

  • Citation Style: AJOSHE uses the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition style or IEEE style (please alter this line based on your target citation system) for citations and references.
  • Reference Management: Authors are strongly recommended to use standard reference tools like Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
  • Sources Validity: At least 80% of the total references must come from primary sources (peer-reviewed scientific journals) published within the last 5 to 10 years.
